Step 1
Select the Views option under Configuration from the main menu.
Note: The visibility of main menu options is determined by menu permissions. For more information about configuring menu permissions, see: Understanding Menu Permissions.
Step 2
Select the specimens view from the list of views displayed. Then click the View button.
Step 3
Under the Direct Tests section, click to configure a new test.
Step 4
The Test Definition page will appear, fill out the mandatory fields to define a new test.
Test to clone
Use the dropdown to select the extant test from which you wish to clone.
Note: In order to configure a new test, you must first clone off an extant one. This inherits the fields, page structure and report layout.
Title
Type the name of the new test.
Description
Type the description that will appear on the first page of the test. It is generally best to use this to convey general information about how to fill out the test fields.
Step 5
When you have finished filling out the fields, click Save to add the new test.
Step 6
Verify that the new test appears in the list.
