1. Choose the Views option on the main menu.
2. Select the specimens view from the list of views displayed. Then click the View button.
3. Move down the specimen configuration screen until you find the Specimen Type Direct Test Defaults section. This will list all of the specimen types for which direct tests will be created when you receive a specimen.
Then click next to the specimen type you wish to amend.
4. The Delete Direct Test Default screen will appear.
Check that you have selected the correct specimen type and then click Delete.
5. The specimen type and the direct test defaults will now be displayed on the specimen configuration screen with the specimen type you have deleted no longer appearing in the list.
6. Logout of the system by clicking the logout button in the top right of the screen.
