1. Choose the Views option on the main menu.
2. Select the specimens view from the list of views displayed. Then click the View button.
3. On the Direct Tests section of the specimens configuration screen click the + button. This will bring up the screen to add a new direct test.
4. The Add Test Definition screen will then be display.
Test to clone
You create a new test definition by cloning the definition of an existing test. This field gives you a list of all the tests on the system to select from.
Title
The title of the new test. This is how the user will identify the test within the system
Description
The description of the new test.
When you have finished entering the new test definition. Click the Save button.
5. Give permissions to use the new test definition.
No user will be able to use the new test until they are given the necessary permissions. Details on how to do this can be found at Assigning Permissions to Use a Test Definition.
