Step 1
Select the Locations option on the main menu.
Step 2
Select the location you wish to edit from the list.
Step 3
Select the Edit Location button which appears at the top of the screen.
Step 4
The edit location window will appear - Make any desired changes to the location information.
Location
Enter the location name here.
Code
A unique identifier for the location, this can be used to easily reference and access the location while using SEDRI-LIMS.
Parent Location
You may use this field to define a parent-child relationship with a pre-existing location, thereby creating location hierarchies. For more information about hierarchies, see: .
Longitude/Latitude
You may optionally specify specific location coordinates using these fields.
Enabled
Setting this to "No" will make the location inactive.
Step 5
When you have finished editing the location, click Save to commit the changes.
