As an open-source system, while the creator is Arcta Solutions, the software will be licensed for use, modification and re-distribution by any organisation or individual, subject to the constraints of the license. As such, once published, it will not effectively be owned by anyone. However, the core codebase will continue to be maintained and administered by Arcta Solutions, who will also be providing ongoing support.
While the specific license under which the software will be published is yet to be decided, it is likely to be one of the more permissive of the OSI approved options. The plan, at time of writing, is to publish the source code to GitHub in April 2025.
