Step 1
Select the Specimens option from the main menu.
Note: The visibility of main menu options is determined by menu permissions. For more information about configuring menu permissions, see: Understanding Menu Permissions.
Step 2
For the specimen you wish to view from the main list, display the specimen record using one of the following methods:
- Select the “eye” icon in the second column of the specimen row (hover over each action icon to see the meaning)
- Double-click anywhere on the specimen row except for the action icons
- Click once on the desired specimen row (anywhere except for the action icons), then press the Enter key
The specimen record is displayed as shown below.
Step 3
Look for the section entitled Cultures for a list of the culture results currently associated with the specimen. For the culture you wish to view, click on the “eye” icon to enter the culture record.
The culture record will be displayed (the example below shows only the title and general attributes section).
