Step 1
Select the Specimens option on the main menu.
Step 2
Select the specimen with the culture that you wish to delete from the list.
Note: Availability of an action on a specimen is determined by it's state. For more information about states and workflow, see: Specimen State and Workflow.
Step 3
Select the View button which appears at the top of the screen.
Step 4
You will enter the Specimen Record View, scroll down to the Cultures section and click the icon adjacent to the culture that you wish to delete.
Step 5
The additional options menu will appear, from here select Delete Culture.
Step 6
The Delete Culture page will appear - verify that you have selected the correct culture.
When you are ready to proceed, click the Delete button.
Step 7
On the Specimen Record View, scroll down to the Cultures section and verify that the deleted culture has been removed from the list.
