The Enter Test Details action permits IQC results to be recorded for a specific IQC test (see Add an IQC Test for how to create an IQC test).
Step 1
Select the Quality option from the main menu, followed by the IQC Tests sub-option.
Step 2
Assuming the current role has the corresponding event permission (see Understanding Event Permissions), and that an IQC test has been created but not yet populated, select the Enter Test Details icon for the relevant test in the main list. Hovering over the action icons or selecting the “...” overflow icon reveals the action names.
The Enter Test Results form will appear.
Step 3
Enter results for each antibiotic / organism strain field. The valid ranges are displayed below each field. If an out of range measurement is entered, the range test will turn red, as shown below for Eravacycline.
Step 4
When all available results have been entered, select Save to store them. The form closes automatically to reveal the IQC test list-view.
Steps 1 to 3 can be repeated until the IQC test has been completed and all results recorded.
Step 5
Once all IQC tests have been recorded, select the Mark Complete icon for the relevant test in the main list. Hovering over the action icons or selecting the “...” overflow icon reveals the action names.
The IQC test completion confirmation form will appear.
Step 6
After observing the caution, select Save to permanently store the IOC test results. You will not be able to edit the results after performing this step. The form will close automatically.
Step 7
Note the change in Status of the test in the main list from Pending to Completed and the completion date added in the Date Completed column. Note also that the test can no longer be edited or completed, with View being the only remaining option.
