Import Configuration from File

Configuration can be restored to an earlier point in time by importing a previously exported configuration file.  This can be useful if erroneous changes have been made that are difficult to reverse manually.  Alternatively, configuration can be cloned from another system when a standard setup is required across multiple similar systems.

Step 1

Select the Configuration option from the main menu, followed by the History sub-option.

Note: The visibility of main menu options is determined by menu permissions. For more information about configuring menu permissions, see: Understanding Menu Permissions.

Step 2

Select Import Configuration from File from the action bar.

The Import Configuration Settings form should appear.

Step 3

Use the Choose File control within the Configuration file to upload field to select the text file containing the desired configuration data, then select Save to import it.  The form will close automatically, and the new configuration will take effect at the next logon.
