In response to demand, SEDRI-LIMS now features built-in visualisation and export of local data. A number of relations have been built-in by default, but these are easily exended. They include: specimen by type, location, organisation, organism or tag plotted against time, plus organism susceptibility over time. All plots can be filtered or scaled based on numerous criteria, including specimen state, specimen type, organism, antibiotic, susceptibility, location, organisation and tag. So, for example, you could plot the incidence of resistance of Acinetobacter Baumannii to Cefiderocol over the last six months in a given area.
Relations can be rendered using different visualisation methods, such as bar-chart, stacked bar-chart, line, pie or donut. They can then be exported, either as an image, for inclusion in a Word document or PowerPoint slide or, more powerfully, as a CSV for further manipulation by Excel or equivalent. Filter presets can be stored for common relations to minimize configuration time.
Also available in the latest release is antibiogram support, wherein local susceptibilities are plotted for antibiotics tested against organisms isolated. You can further filter the organisms and/or antibiotics included, as well as filtering on client organisation and/or location. Cells can also be displayed as a percentage, value or value and total. Once again, the resultant data can be exported as a CSV for further manipulation under Excel.
