Step 1

Select Reports on the main menu then select Graphs.

Note: The visibility of main menu options is determined by menu permissions. For more information about configuring menu permissions, see: Understanding Menu Permissions.

Step 2

Adjust the Filter settings to generate the desired graph.

GraphFilters.png

Select which Graph Type to use.

GraphTypes.png

Note: Some Filters are unique to specific Graph Types.

Specimens by Location:

Shows specimens grouped by location.

Specimens by Organisation:

Shows specimens grouped by organisation.

Specimens by Organism:

Shows the number of specimens with cultures grouped by the culture organism.

Organism Susceptibility:

Shows the number of AST results grouped by susceptibility.

Specimen Type Summary:

Shows specimen numbers grouped by specimen type.

Specimens by Tag:

Shows number of specimens grouped by the tag(s) associated with the specimen.

Test Summary:

Shows number of tests grouped by test type.

Step 4

Select a Date Interval.  The Date Interval determines the grouping of data points for the X-axis of the graph.

Note: Choosing by Month and Day will group data by the chosen interval across years and months respectively. For example: Month will group all January specimens together and not differentiate between 2020 January and 2021 January.  Use the Date Range Picker (Step 6) for greater control over data inclusion.

Step 6

Note: All the remaining filters are optional. To generate graph skip to Step 7.
Note: Custom list entries will be visible in the filter lists. If custom entries are not visible, ensure they have been added correctly before relogging to refresh your lists. For more information on custom list values, see: Tables: Maintaining Selection Lists
Note: Filters are OR coded. This means that selecting two tests will show all specimens that contain one or more of the chosen tests.

Date Range

Use the Date Range Picker to select an upper and/or lower Date Range for the included data.

DatePicker.png

Specimen Type

This will limit the data set to only specimens of the chosen type(s).

SpecimenTypes.png

Test

Limits the data to specimens that include the chosen tests.

Tests.png

Tag

Limits data to specimens that have tags associated with them.

Tag.png

Organism

Limits data to specimens including cultures including the chosen organism.

ORganisms.png

Note: Organisms must be in a custom organism group to appear in the Organism filter list. For more information see: Adding an Organism Group.

State

Limits data based on the state of the specimens.

Antibiotic

Limits data to AST results including the chosen antibiotic(s).

Antib.png

Susceptibility

Limits data to AST results including the chosen susceptibilities.

Susc.png

Location

Limits data to the patient location. Location is a searchable filter and requires values to be typed in.

Location.png

Location Level

Limits data to the chosen hierarchy for locations.  Only accessible for the Specimen by Location graph and shows all locations at a specified hierarchy tier.

LocationLevel.png

Organisation

Limits data to specimens related to the chosen organisation(s). Organisation is a searchable filter and requires values to be typed in.

Org.png

Organisation Level

Limits data to the chosen hierarchy for organisations.  Only accessible for the Specimen by Organisation graph and shows all organisations at a specified hierarchy tier.
