Step 1
Select the Antibiotics option from the main menu.
Note: The visibility of main menu options is determined by menu permissions. For more information about configuring menu permissions, see: Understanding Menu Permissions.
Step 2
Select the Add Antibiotic button, which appears at the top of the page.
Step 3
The add antibiotic window will appear - fill in the information as appropriate.
Name
Enter the antibiotic name here.
Code
Enter a unique antibiotic code here.
Group ID
You may associate an antibiotic with a group here.
Note: Any field marked with 
is mandatory.
Step 4
When you have finished entering the antibiotic information, click Save to add it.
Step 5
Verify that the newly created antibiotic appears in the list.
